It was a dominant display from Oakwood as they eased to a 7–0 home win over Dorkinians in an entertaining encounter.

The hosts wasted no time stamping their authority on the match. After just five minutes, Harry Morley opened the scoring with a composed finish to give Oakwood the early advantage. Six minutes later, Theo “The Rock” Baker Rogers doubled the lead, capping off a strong spell of attacking football.

Dorkinians proved to be no pushovers and continued to test Oakwood, but goalkeeper Billie Mclean was alert to any danger and kept the visitors at bay. The first half ended with Oakwood two goals to the good, but plenty of football still to play.

A few tactical changes at the break saw Oakwood come out with renewed energy. Six minutes into the second half, Hamza Samateh made it 3–0, finishing smartly to give Oakwood further breathing room. Harry Morley, full of energy throughout, grabbed his second of the game to make it four. Lukas Moudoumou then added a fifth as Oakwood continued to turn the screw.

Dorkinians showed real fight and never gave up, continuing to push forward. But Oakwood stayed clinical. Adam Baccar struck twice in quick succession to extend the lead, and although a third was ruled out for offside, it was still a performance to remember.

A professional and convincing 7–0 win sees Oakwood turn their focus to next weekend’s clash against Met Police, full of momentum and confidence.
