Lads enjoy a trip to the seaside

When you get the chance to play at a professional training ground against the best girls across Sussex you need to be ready. That is what was on offer for our lads for there next league game. The set up was outstanding, almost as good as Tinsley Lane but it didn't have that rustic charm and bumpy entry road. The lads came into the game on the back of a great win v Royal Earlswood and looking to keep the unbeaten start to the season going. We started a bit frantic. The pitch was very tight and it didn't allow us to express ourselves the way we know we can but on 8 minutes we opened the scoring from a well taken goal from Jude Harding. Jude is a new member to the team and has fitted in following his big summer move from Maidenbower. We continued to create chances as did a very well drilled Brighton side. Daniel and Archie in midfield needed to step up their pressing of the ball which they did over the duration of the game. We doubled our lead via Niko Joseph but just before half time Brighton pulled one goal back, it was the first goal Ethan has let in this season. The start of the second half saw us press Brighton back, the first 5 minutes we created 6 chances, had one goal via Adam disallowed and scored one via Niko Joseph again. On 41 minutes Daniel Ritchie scored 3 times in 5 seconds to make the score 4-1. With 5 minutes left Brighton got a 2nd goal but we ran out 4-2 winners to continue our unbeaten start to the season. We have a week off next week to play in the futsal tournament at K2.
