As the 2025/26 season approaches, Oakwood U14s manager Kirk Ritchie is filled with excitement and optimism. After a strong previous campaign, the team is preparing for a fresh start with a mix of new faces and familiar ones returning to the pitch.

While the summer has seen some players move on, Ritchie expressed his pride in every single member of last season’s squad. “It’s always sad to see players leave, but we’re incredibly proud of them all,” he said. “Special congratulations to Lily Warner, who’s off to play for Brighton & Hove Albion in the JPL – a fantastic achievement and a testament to her hard work and dedication.”

Looking ahead, Oakwood U14s have already welcomed two exciting new signings, Jake and Lukas, who are settling in well. However, the squad is still on the lookout for two more players to complete the team ahead of the new season.

Ritchie was also keen to extend heartfelt thanks to the club’s valued sponsors. “A massive thank you to Keymex in Reigate and Richard for their continued support,” he said. “We’re also incredibly grateful to Reigate Environmental Services – thank you to Paris for your ongoing commitment.
