Local derby sees Smallfield visit Tinsley Lane

Oakwood welcomed Smallfield FC to the cauldron that is Tinsley Lane for their first EVER home game. It also saw Harry Morley come up against his former team and school friends. On a very tight and small pitch Oakwood struggled to get their passing moves flowing, great pressing by Smallfield saw Kye called into action with an early save. As the game grew on Oak's started to up the tempo and opened the scroing with Harry Morely crashing the ball in from wide right. Oaks who were missing Roman Gilbert continued to press and created a number of chances. Zayne JEYACHANDRAN popped up with a goal to make it 2-0 and then the ever impressive NAMEER HUSSAIN claimed the 3rd deflecting a Zayne shot in off his head. Smallfield pulled a goal back but Oakwood dug in to win 3-1.
